Hripsime Wright, MD, MPH was invited to speak at the 12th Annual Unite for Sight Global Health & Innovation Conference (2015) as part of a forum on Women’s Health. She presented on, “Identifying knowledge and attitudes towards breast cancer and the practice of breast self examination among women in Armenia.”

This is video of the presentation given by Global Health Armenia research team alumna Diane Chapman, University of Utah, at the Unite for Sight Global Health & Innovation Conference held at Yale University on March 29, 2015. Ms. Chapman was invited to speak during the Student Leaders in Global Health, Clinic-Based Research Session. Her presentation is titled, “Identifying gaps to improve outcomes: Diabetes-Related knowledge assessment among primary health care providers in Armenia.”

The study abroad dates to Armenia will be:  May 29, 2015 – June 19, 2015.

This will be another exciting year conducting research in conjunction with the Ministry of Health of Armenia, Yerevan State Medical School, the Armenian American Wellness Center and many other partners.

Have you wondered, “How do you make Armenian Lavash?”  Wonder no more!  While in Yerevan, Armenia, University of Utah students visited Parvana Restaurant and were able to see the entire process.  Lavash is so tasty- thanks Armenia!

On our final night together as a group, we went out to dine at Parvana Restaurant.  Delicious food abounded, and just when we thought things could not get better, the music started.  After weeks of work, we took a moment to reflect on 2014 and look forward to 2015.
